The idea for Panic Motorsports was (as the story goes) conjured up by a few gearhead friends on a bar napkin
about 12 years ago, but it wasn't a reality until Steve and Rebecca Bertok brought it to life in 2002. It began as just a
group of friends interested in autocross and F&C, but in the Fall of 2006, Panic became a full-time job for Steve
when he made the decision to open his own sports car salvage business. Rebecca serves as Panic's marketing
director, web master, and crew chief on race weekends.
Panic Motorsports sells high-quality, tested salvage and aftermarket auto parts for Mazda Miatas and RX-7's; as well
as vinyl decals, roll bars, Carbotech brake pads, and more. Panic Motorsports also offers Spec Miata builds, prep,
maintenance, and trackside support, racetrack delivery, street car service and repair, and the occasional salvage
parts for Volvo, Porsche, and Mini. Driving instruction is also available at tracks throughout the Southeast. Check

What started out as simply a group of five friends supporting each other at Solo 2 events in the South Carolina
Region-SCCA, Panic has grown into a team of 15 drivers and officials. We have folks in Florida, Georgia, North
Carolina, Maryland, England, Vermont, Arizona, and Holland.
We have drivers competing in:
SCCA Club Racing: Spec Miata, Limited Production, and Showroom Stock C
World of Outlaws: 358 Sprints
SCCA Solo 2 Program: Various classes
Championships:
Panic Motorsports boasts over 10 championships in not only SCCA but WKA events as well. Drivers compete at
tracks from Daytona International Speedway, Roebling Road Raceway, Carolina Motorsports Park, and Road
Atlanta to Virginia International Raceway, Trailway Speedway, and Lowe's Motor Speedway.
